I would like to share my personal experience with Oromah International regarding my UK Health and Care Worker visa process. I paid £15,000 to Mr. Sebastian Soy Kaippan for assistance in obtaining a Health and Care Worker sponsorship. From the beginning, he appeared genuine, professional, and trustworthy. He initially informed me that there was a vacancy near my current UK residence. As my visa was close to expiry and I urgently needed to switch employers, I agreed to proceed. One morning, Mr. Sebastian contacted me via WhatsApp and informed me that another opportunity had become available. He described it as a good care home with good management and said the fee would remain the same. He also informed me that he had already explained my situation to the employer, that no interview would be required, and that if I made the payment, he would arrange for my Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) to be issued the following day. I requested two to three days to arrange the funds. After making the payment, my CoS was issued, and my visa application was approved. A couple of months later, I joined the care home. Although my colleagues were friendly and supportive, my experience with the management was very disappointing. Instead of working mainly as a Health Care Assistant, which was the role stated on my visa and Certificate of Sponsorship, I was regularly assigned kitchen assistant and laundry duties. I informed the management that I am allergic to certain cleaning chemicals and requested work that was more closely related to my sponsored role. Despite explaining my concerns, I continued to be assigned the same duties. As a result of the situation, I became unwell and had to report sick. Shortly afterwards, my employment was terminated with immediate effect. I explained to the management that I had invested a significant amount of money to obtain this sponsorship and that I had accepted the position believing I would be employed primarily as a Health Care Assistant. I respectfully requested that they reconsider their decision, but my request was not accepted. Following the termination of my employment, I contacted Mr. Sebastian and requested a refund that I had paid. He assured me on several occasions that he would resolve the matter. Relying on those assurances, I waited for approximately five to six months. Unfortunately, no resolution was provided, and I have since found that I have been blocked on WhatsApp. Since my experience, I have spoken with other individuals who have described experiences that they believe are similar to mine. I understand that some people have also paid substantial amounts, reportedly between £15,000 and £30,000, in connection with Health and Care Worker visa sponsorships. Based on my own experience, I believe I may have been misled during the recruitment process and suffered a significant financial loss. I also have concerns about the relationship between Mr. Sebastian and the care home involved. However, these concerns are based solely on my personal experience and the information available to me, and I cannot comment on any arrangements beyond what I have personally observed. I am attaching one screenshot of Mr. Sebastian’s WhatsApp messages as supporting evidence. I also have additional WhatsApp conversations, payment records, and other documents that I am willing to provide if required. I respectfully request that the relevant authorities or organisations review this matter thoroughly so that the facts can be properly established and to help prevent others from experiencing similar situations.
