The Latin American House in London has been an institution of ours for many years! I have been a user, a volunteer, and I have used its facilities to develop different projects within my field: outreach activities, dissemination of information, distribution of related materials, sexual health testing, etc. The staff has always been kind and helpful to my clients and to me as well! I am extremely grateful to its directors, especially Jhoana Mosquera, the current director, for her dedication to service and support of the Latin American community. It is important to emphasize that the Latin American House in London is made up of all of us, and therefore we must help make it our home! Thank you so much for existing and for being here!

The Quechua Rimanakuy community would like to thank the Latin American House (LAH) for its support to the dissemination of the Quechua language in the UK. During several stages they have supported us with Quechua Classes, with our Quechua dance practices, with the Quechua cinema forum , with community events such as Peruvian gastronomy , with the Inti Raymi, with painting exhibition and other events. As is normal, there will be some differences peculiar to the community work, but overall we are very grateful for the support lent to the dissemination of Andean Quechua culture. We cannot, miss this opportunity, to express our recognition to the Latin American house. We hope to continue counting with that community support. Jose Miranda-Valladares Discussion Quechua Community

I found out about Latin American House when I started to go to the conversation club at seven sisters. As a father of Latin American children I was looking to improve my Spanish. That is WIP. Checking their website and socials they do some amazing things like an annual arts festival, community activities and a free welfare support service. They also have a Spanish Saturday school for children and I have decided to enroll my daughters. I have to say, reading some of the recent reviews, it seems like a small group have some sort of vendetta against the director. I obvious don't know there experiences but I had the chance to meet her and she seemed to be working hard to keep things going.

In my opinion, Ms. Jhoana's tenure as director has coincided with a clear decline in the Casa Latinoamericana. As a user, I have witnessed how the organization has lost much of the dynamism and relevance it enjoyed for years. In the last year, I have observed a significant reduction in the quality and quantity of activities, as well as a decrease in the services offered to the community. I have also noticed less participation from people who previously found this space to be a place of support and connection. The director should listen to the community, evaluate what is not working, and work to restore the trust and the role that the Casa Latinoamericana once held as a leading organization for the Latin American community.

Great job helping the Spanish-speaking community.
