Do not answer their phones due to workload. Very slow to respond and lacking anyone with legal knowledge/ability to interpret and undrstand the law.

I did get answer to my question, as a new State Pensioner, however, there was no volunteered advice on what my entitlements as a State Pensioner will be. I have found out more by my own research. It would be helpful if new claimants had a guide, and that CAB could be more aware of the information required by State pensioners so that noone misses out and knows what, and how they can access entitlements. No info regarding cost of living payment in present circumstances, winter fuel payment etc. I was able to find information but not everybody can.
