Extremely poor communication and no meaningful support when it mattered most. I contacted Haringey Law Centre for help with a serious housing/eviction matter. I sent the documents they requested, signed their legal help paperwork, attended the appointment process, and repeatedly followed up by email and phone. Despite this, I have been left chasing them again and again with no clear response, no proper follow-up, and no practical guidance at a critical stage. This was not a minor issue. I was dealing with a possession order and court costs that I could not afford, and I needed urgent legal advice on what steps could be taken. Instead, I was met with silence. I sent several emails, called the office, and explained the urgency, but I still did not receive the level of support or communication I reasonably expected from a legal advice organisation. The most frustrating part is that they collect documents, arrange appointments, and make it seem as if help is coming, but then the communication breaks down completely. When someone is facing homelessness or court action, being ignored is not just inconvenient; it causes real stress and can seriously affect the outcome of the case. In my experience, Haringey Law Centre has been unreliable, unresponsive, and extremely disappointing. I would not recommend relying on them if your matter is urgent or time-sensitive. People seeking housing or homelessness advice should seriously consider looking elsewhere, because the lack of communication here can leave you feeling completely abandoned.
I tried to get there help with landlord harassment. They refused and sent me some generic description. Unless you are being thrown on the street don’t expect anything from them
Completely useless and waste of time Everything on their website as what they supposedly offer applies to my case Wasted time visiting them and writing emails just to let you know that they have LACK OF capacity and unable to attend the needs of the matter.
