OBNOXIOUS & UNCARING STAFF: I have always heard good things about the CAB, therefore, out of dire need for advice and help for a dear friends, I attended their branch at greater pollok citizen bureau, I was shocked to see their obnoxious and arrogant attitude, tone and almost the impression that they were burdened by my presence and requesting to seek information and advice. Mind you, I was there to seek information for "modern slavery" in relation to a friend. I was initially scanned head to toe before being told just turn up and stand in a queue or attend an open day/information session at some point during the month. Absolutely disappointed and highly would recommend others to not even bother with CAB here at this office. I am feeling shame that i went there just to seek an advice.

26/05/2026: Annmarie was absolutely rude, unprofessional and was always cutting me off when I enquired about the forms they were continually asking and insisting me to sign instead of dealing with my enquiry. I came in with 9 simple questions, and instead I was asked to sign a number of different papers and when I refused to do so Annmarie was trying to prompt me to sign them nevertheless. So at the end, none of my questions were ever answered. When I requested Annmarie to send me a copy of my personal information they have about me, she simply said "Ah do not worry we have info that you give us..." After a number of failed attempts I had to ask for the manager's help. They simply refused to pass on the manager's email (as the manager was not at the office). Instead, they asked me to address the manager (Alice) using a pen and paper (HAND-written form). The way I was treated during the whole time at the Pollok Citizens Advice Bureau gives me solid reasons to assume that that paper ended up in a bin once I left. I still insist that the Pollok Citizens Advice Bureau, be it Annmarie or the manager Alice to email me the copy of my personal information they have about me - as part of my rights.

Very short working time 9- 1pm! Never have a space for drop off. Previous appointment as well full. How you can get space for advice?

I've called 140 times, and no one has answered other than their machine saying they are busy helping people. I wonder how those people got in touch?
