Had the misfortune of calling these for benefit advice yesterday at 11.54 a.m I was transferred to the 'Supervisor' who was abrupt and arrogant declining to help 🤷‍♀️ I told her I didn't like her arrogance as I was asking for advice for a family member and there was no need for her attitude. Transferred to someone else who took too many details then said no appointments this month or next 🤬 finally a referral to the C.A.B CALS not fit for purpose

Avoid avoid avoid!!! I have just been cut off for the umpteenth time after waiting 34 minutes to be connected i have called them every day for the last three weeks and havent been connected once attempted to speak to them in person last week too and they told me i need to book a consultation and they cant see me without a referal which i have through citizens advice 3 times citizens advice have sent a referal in hope it would speed things up and nothing they just ignore you refuse to answer calls turn you away if you attend and then do as little as possible to help you in a time where people are struggling more than ever with homelessness and poverty and mental health cases are at a record high its a joke what are they actually doing? Who are they helping? Infact why do they even exist? In 2026 my local authority and law services wont do nothing to help my situation I actually give up what's the point anymore!!!

The service here is abysmal absolutely disgusting you call them they have you ringing through for hours then they either cut you off or ask you to leave a message and then never contact you back you go to their offices physically and they refuse to talk to you without a appointment despite being referred to them so what is it they actualy do? Who do they actually help? They literally serve no purpose whatsoever and are as much use as a chocolate tea pot families are needing desperate help like mine and are being letting down and ignored and they wonder why peoples mental health spirals im actually furious if you can avoid them they dont and won't help you at all!!!
