I hate to have to write this review, as I always believed the CAB were a fantastic organisation who could help anyone with almost anything. Unfortunately, our experience was less than satisfactory. We were enquiring about help available whilst my wife is on maternity leave, and the advisor knew nothing. Sat there and looked everything up on google and GOV websites (we’d already done this prior to our visit) and we were with the advisor for about 5 minutes after a 2 hour wait. I appreciate advisors are volunteers but should not be in this position if they do not have adequate knowledge. We left after being told to seek help at the Job Centre, again, something else we knew we could have done. Not helpful whatsoever.
