Great thanks to BRASS (Befriending Refugees and Asylum Seekers) for the support they gave me during one of the most difficult times in my life. I had paid a deposit for a house and was due to move in, but at the last moment the landlord stopped responding before we could complete the tenancy. Because I had already given notice to leave my previous accommodation, my room had been taken by someone else, and I suddenly found myself homeless. A workmate recommended me to BRASS, they listened to my situation with kindness, respect, and understanding. Spending half a day there as they worked hard to help me, used their connections to find me accommodation, and supported me through a very stressful time. Their compassion and dedication gave me hope when I had nowhere else to turn. I am truly grateful to everyone at BRASS for the care and support they showed me. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help. May God bless all the staff and volunteers for the amazing work they do in supporting refugees and people in need.
